Many people ask what the meaning is of our farm name "Kristdala".

Dave and Kara both grew up in the rural farming area known as Kristdala Hills, in rural Henry County, Illinois ,where early Swedish immigrants settled and named the area “Kristdala Hills” which means “The Valley's of Christ”, and was known to be where the Swedish settlers would congregate for picnics following Sunday services. The land was gently rolling with peaks and valley's of rich wheat fields.

Having since relocated to Oklahoma in what is known as "Pecan Valley", we decided to keep the family farm name as it seemed fitting in giving God all the glory for His great blessings in all things.
